On 10-13th of June 2017, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign affairs Linas Linkevičius had an official visit in Georgia. Throughout the visit, a meeting with students and members of youth non-governmental organizations, including YATA Georgia, was held at Information Center on NATO an EU. Minister talked about challenges and achievements of NATO and EU integration process and expressed support for Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
On May 26-29 of 2017 spring session of NATO Parliamentary Assembly was held in Tbilisi, Georgia. Volunteers of the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association of Georgia (YATA Georgia) actively contributed to organizing the session.

On the 26th of March 2017 Youth Atlantic Treaty Association of Georgia (YATA Georgia) organized final round of debates tournament in Karl Popper debate format. The main topic of the debate was “Rising nationalism and European security”, with the resolution ” European security should be strengthened due to the increased Neo-Nazism”.
On the 25th of March 2017 Youth Atlantic Treaty Association of Georgia organized debate tournament in Karl Popper debate format with the participation of 8 three-member teams. The debates were held at Free University.
On the 24th of March 2017 YATA Georgia attended the event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome.
