Meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania

 On 10-13th of  June 2017, Lithuanian  Minister of Foreign affairs Linas Linkevičius had an official visit in Georgia. Throughout the visit, a meeting with students and members of youth non-governmental organizations, including YATA Georgia, was held at Information Center on NATO an EU. Minister talked about challenges and achievements of  NATO and EU integration process and expressed support for Georgia’s  European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations. 

 

YATA Georgia’s volunteers at the spring session of NATO Parlaimentary Assembly

On May 26-29 of 2017 spring session of NATO Parliamentary Assembly was held in Tbilisi, Georgia. Volunteers of the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association of Georgia (YATA Georgia) actively contributed to organizing the session.

Final debates – 2017

On the 26th of  March 2017 Youth Atlantic Treaty Association of Georgia (YATA Georgia) organized final round of debates tournament in Karl Popper debate format. The main topic of the debate was “Rising nationalism and European security”, with the resolution  ” European security should be strengthened due to the increased Neo-Nazism”.

YATA School – Day 7

yata-school-day-7-1-300x200YATA School continues its seminars.The invited speaker was strategy investigation center’s director Irakli Menagharishvili.
He was talking about NATO-Russian and NATO-Ukrainian relationships. Also about the inside politics of these countries.

The project is held by joint partnership whit Information Center on NATO and EU and YATA Georgia.

1-300x160YATA School continues its seminars.The invited speaker was the Georgian Ministery apparat Europian and Euroatlantic structures in integration issues strategy communication department’s executive Tornike Nozadze.
He was talking about Russian propagation and it’s mechanism.The project is held by joint partnership whit Information Center on NATO and EU and YATA Georgia.
