Executive board

Executive Board is the executive organ of the association and consists of the following six members: Executive Director, General Secretary, Deputy Executive Director, Communications Officer, IT Officer, and Analytical Officer.

Executive Board is empowered to make decisions such as:

  • Approval of action plans of the association and then proceeding to hand it to the Supervisory Board;
  • Decisions affecting,  or related to the issues related to the ongoing and planned projects of the association;
  • Comprising the working groups of the association and defining their annual schedule;
  • Regarding the issues with the other aspects of the association’s activities.

Executive Director of the association is the sole person responsible for the representation of the association, who oversees the collective leadership of the organization and acts as a principal leader, presents reports to the Supervisory Council, leads the meetings of the Executive Council/Board, and proceeds to supervise the activities of members.

General Secretary of the association represents the organization in the affairs with local and international non-governmental organizations and several ministries of the government; has the right to participate in international forums and conferences in the name of the organization.

Deputy Executive Director is responsible for the internal communications of the association and distribution of workload and specific roles among the workgroups and members of the organization. Communications Officer is responsible for external communications, as well as the popularization of the aims and tasks of the association.

Information Technology (IT) Officer provides the association with the IT technologies, for instance, photo-video recording of the events, web page administration and others. Analytical Officer is responsible for preparing and providing analytical conclusions and articles for the organization.

Since 2015 up to this date Anna's been studying at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University at the faculty of Social and Political Science, in the direction of Political Science.

Anna has successfully taken part in various international organizations modeling and has won some of them as well. She's an active participant in diverse debate, conferences or seminars, also, she strenuously attends different training and studying courses.

She volunteers as communication manager at  YATA Georgia. Regardless her native language, she owns English and Russian languages.

Mariam Mgebrishvili

Mariam Mgebrishvili is currently studying Governance and Social Studies at Free University. In 2016 She had an internship at the Administration of the Government of Georgia,  Department of Policy Analysis, Strategic Planning and Coordination, Donor Coordination Unit. Afterwards, in 2017 she continued working as an International Relations Specialist at the Georgian Aviation University (within the program "Study in Georgia" by Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia). While working on previously mentioned position, she took part in MCA training about gender issues. Mariam has actively participated in organizing annual Free University “ART-Weekend”. At present, she is working on her undergraduate thesis.

Giorgi Nadiradze was born in 26.04.1995 in Tetritskaro, Kvemo Kartli, Georgia.

2001-2013 years he used to study at #1 Public School of Tetritskaro. Since 2013 he studies at School of Law of Ilias State University with 70% state scholarship. simultaneously with the study, the activities at miscellaneous organizations. Nowadays he works at 4 local or international organizations: Caucasian Academy of Diplomacy, European Law Students Association (ELSA), International Law Students Association (ILSA).

Member of Directors of Youth Atlantic Treaty Association Georgia- YATA

Owns Georgian, English, Greek and Russian languages.

Tornike Tevdoradze, Tbilisi State University's second-year student and at the same time YATA Georgia's member from January 2018, as the Personnel Development Manager.

In 2016 he was enrolled at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with full funding on the main branch of International Relations. He is continuing his studies in Romania at the University of Iasi with Erasmus + Program. Tornike was named as the best speaker at the conference - "Who is who in the international migration justice". Participated in the conference - "The way to the European Integration", where he discussed the last five years of Georgia's European integration and showed future prospects. Tornike is an author of the article, "Economic Problems in the United States and Europe in the 1930s", which was printed in the monthly international magazine "Economics". In 2014 he participated in the project "Young Ambassadorial 2014", which was related to the EU and other intergovernmental organizations.

This year he participated in a conference dedicated to the Holocaust, where he presented his research on Rwandan Genocide. In 2016 he attended the training "informed young voters". His hobbies are hanging over with friends and computer technologies. Tornike is a young direct, sociable and leading man. She speaks English (B2), Russian (B1) and French (A1) languages except for native language.

Rati Bakhtadze

Rati Bakhtadze graduated from Tbilisi State University in 2013 with a degree in Law (field of International law) and 2015 - Master at International Law (Thesis: “Georgia and NATO – Article 5 of Washington Treaty and Its Come Into Action”).

He has attended numerous international and local training courses and conferences. In 2011-2012, he was the winner of a United Nations Modelling scholarship. He attended assemblies, forums, and round-tables in Canada, Estonia, Belgium, Norway and other countries.

In 2013 he has done two projects in Georgian region about constitutional amendments and human rights. Rati joined YATA Georgia in 2013, 2014-2018 he was executive director.

In 2013-2015 he was working as a legal analyst at NGO “Georgian’s Reforms Associates”, project "www.factcheck.ge".

Currently, he is a chief specialist at Office of Public Defender of Georgia, a Ph.D. candidate in International Law and Secretary General of YATA Georgia.

Rati speaks English and Russian in addition to native Georgian.

Dea Maghalashvili studies International Relations at Ilia State University. Founder of the International Student Club of Diplomacy. Winner of the Best Student Projects of 2014. Dea was officially invited by the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria. She undertook Leadership and Strategic Organizational basic course conducted by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, as well as training at Lublin Technological University, Management Department. Since 2016 she has been the member of Georgia's Young Diplomats’ Club. Has undergone internship in US Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Currently, Dea is passing the internship at the Parliament of Georgia as chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee and is actively working on the "State Program for Diplomacy Development". In addition, she is engaged in sport and cultural activities. Besides native language, she speaks English, Russian, German and French.
