“Georgia’s successes and challenges on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration”

The first meeting of the Diplomacy Week was held on November 1, which was opened by Mr. Alex Petriashvili.

Mr. Alex Petriashvili is a Senior Fellow at the Rondell Foundation. He has 20 years of diplomatic experience, during which he represented the country in bilateral and multilateral formats.

The topic of the meeting was: “Georgia’s successes and challenges on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration”

Mr. Alex Petriashvili spoke about Georgia’s successes and challenges on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration, where he focused on Georgia’s prospects for NATO membership and Black Sea security issues. He also shared his diplomatic experience with the students and talked about the art of successful diplomatic negotiations. The mentioned meeting aroused quite a lot of interest among the students and many questions were also asked.

The project “Diplomacy Week” is dedicated to the Day of Georgian Diplomacy, which is celebrated on November 3. Meetings will be held within the project by Georgian and foreign diplomats.
