The project “YATA School” for students has started at Information Center on NATO and EU. During 2 weeks, seminars on NATO and NATO-Georgia cooperation will be held for participants of the school. Matter of discussion is diverse. It includes such issues as NATO’s history, goals and objectives, structure, NATO-Georgia relations and the importance of the European integration process, NATO’s maritime and land security policy, and so forth. School of YATA is opened by the deputy director of Informacion Center Giorgi Fareshishvili and executive director of YATA Gerogia Rati Baxtadze. More
Executive Director of YATA Georgia, Rati Bakhtadze successfully completed the National Executive Defence Course.
Director of Defence Institution Building School (DIB) Tea Nikolashvili awarded the participants with certificates. Prior to official completion of the course, the participants divided into syndicates delivered presentations on simulated crisis scenario and sum up the issues discussed during the five-day long course. On November 12th YATA-Georgia organized university students conference “Warsaw Summit – Perspectives and Challenges”. Participants presented their papers on the topics from Warsaw Summit Communiqué, including NATO-Georgia relations, migrant crisis, cyber-security, invitee status of Montenegro, etc. Three best presentators, Konstantine Kevlishvili, Kristine Jincheleishvili, Giorgi Shakaia, were awarded special prizes. The event was made possible by the support of Information Center on NATO and EU.
On June 4th the lecture on NATO-Georgia Relations was conducted at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The event was organized by YATA-Georgia and the presenter was Mr. Mikheil Darchiashvili.
On April 6 within the framework of NATO Week, the second training was held about NATO and NATO-Georgia Relations at Laparaantkari Public School. The training was conducted by Analytical Manager of YATA-Georgia, Mery Kapanadze. The event was organized by the Information Center on NATO and EU and YATA-Georgia. Training was supported by NATO Liason Office in Georgia.
On April 5th within the framework of NATO week, trainings about NATO and NATO-Georgia relations were conducted at Dusheti N1 and N2 Public Schools. The presenters of the event were the Analytical Managers of YATA-Georgia, Mery Kapanadze and Tamuna Jibuti. The event was organized by the Information Center on NATO and EU and YATA-Georgia. Training was supported by NATO Liason Office in Georgia.
