On 12 July, Lieutenant General (Ret’d) Ben Hodges l discussed Russian hybrid warfare and NATO’s deterrence posture.
The meeting t is organized by the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association of Georgia (YATA Georgia) that aims to increase awareness about NATO and NATO-Georgia relations and supports extensive research on the security issues in the region.
On May 9, on the occasion of Europe Day, the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association of Georgia organized a conference “Georgia, NATO and the European Union” with the participation of young ethnic minorities from the Samtskhe-Javakheti region.
Two of the best works were revealed at the conference.
On May 8, expert on Russian-Ukrainian relations, Andreas Umland, discussed the causes and consequences of Russia’s saber-rattling around Ukraine’s conflict zone.
Andreas Umland is a senior expert at the Ukrainian Institute for the Future and a research fellow at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs. The topic of the meeting: “Russia’s gambit: The Artifice of the Recent Military Escalation in Ukraine”.
